EHC Chur without Nik Petrovic for the next two games

Nik Petrovic has been suspended for two games and must pay a fine of CHF 870 for checking an opponent, Kai Münger, from behind. The incident happened in the 24th minute of the game between EHC Chur and HC Thurgau on January 3, and was sanctioned with a five-minute penalty plus a game misconduct penalty. 

The 19-year-old forward, who is under contract with EV Zug and is currently on loan to EHC Chur on a B license, has played 12 games for the Graubünden team so far, scoring four goals and contributing five assists.
