The forward has been sanctioned for a total of two games due to a check from behind against HC Ambrì-Piotta's Jakob Lilja.

In the 37th minute of Saturday's game between EHC Kloten and HC Ambrì-Piotta, Dario Meyer cross-checked Jakob Lilja sending him into the boards. In addition to the two-game suspension - one of which already served - Meyer will have to pay a fine of CHF 2'550.-. The video of the incident can be found here.
