EHC Kloten's Axel Simic suspended for two games

At the request of the Player Safety Officer (PSO), the Single Judge Karl Knopf initiated proceedings against Axel Simic due to a check to the neck/head area of HC Ambrì-Piotta's Miles Müller. The Single Judge, sharing the opinion of the PSO, deemed the check a "Category 2" foul, meaning that the player can be suspended for two to four games. Karl Knopf opted for a sanction in the lower range. Simic will thus return to the lineup for Game 3 of the playoff quarterfinal series against the ZSC Lions.
