The 24-year-old defenseman will be out of EHC Olten's lineup for at least one game.
Gianluca Burger has been provisionally suspended for a hit to the head of Nico Lehmann in the 46th minute of play of the game between EHC Olten and HC Thurgau. The game took place on November 25.
At the same time, proceedings have been initiated against Burger. The defenseman is currently in his first season with EHC Olten. In 23 games, he has recorded one goal and four assists.
