Tobias Fohrler has been issued a four-game suspension. HC Ambrì-Piotta has decided to appeal the decision.
Tobias Fohrler has been suspended for a violation of IIHF rule 39/40, 'Abuse of Officials'. The verdict will now be looked at again by the SIHF court.
Fohrler remains, however, suspended for tonight's game and will not be available to the Biancoblù. The defenseman has appeared in 43 regular-season games this season, recording one goal and one assist.
