Mats Alge in the lineup - Proceedings initiated against EHC Winterthur

HC La Chaux-de-Fonds, which lost the game 4-0, complained about the presence of Mats Alge in the lineup. The young forward of EHC Winterthur, who is under contract with the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, could have not been allowed to step on the ice yesterday as he was in the lineup of the Lakers last Saturday. This could thus be a violation of Article 3.3.1 of the rulebook concerning players' registration.

Players under the age of 23 (which is the case with Mats Alge) may start the playoffs in the Swiss League and play for a National League team during the playoffs. However, as soon as they have played in the National League once after the start of the playoffs in the Swiss League (or were only listed on the match sheet), they may no longer be used in the Swiss League in the same season.
