Proceedings and provisional suspension for Martigny's Mischa Bleiker

Mischa Bleiker has been a member of EHC Chur since 2021 but was playing on loan for HCV Martigny yesterday. Nine minutes into their game versus the Bellinzona Rockets, the forward delivered a hit with his knee against opponent William Hedlund. He has now been provisionally suspended and is facing proceedings. The referees had already awarded him a five-minute major plus a game misconduct.

Luca Capaul, also not playing for his normal team, the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, but with EHC Winterthur via B-licence, was fined CHF 630.- for a violation of IIHF rule 39/40 (abuse of officials). This incident occurred on October 17.
