Proceedings initiated against EHC Basel's Alain Bircher

The disciplinary department of the SIHF is looking into an action committed yesterday by the 26-year-old defender.

Yesterday evening, in the 46th minute of the game between EHC Basel and EHC Olten, Alain Bircher checked Olten's Gregory Weber with his knee. For the action, Bircher was sanctioned by the officials with a major and a game misconduct penalty.
