The 26-year-old forward might miss EHC Kloten's first playoff game. He is currently under investigation for an incident that occurred in the play-in game against HC Ambrì-Piotta.

Proceedings have been initiated against Axel Simic for a potential hit to the head/neck area of the Biancoblù's Miles Müller in the game on March 10. It remains thus to be seen whether Simic will be able to play on Thursday against the ZSC Lions.
Simic has appeared in 26 regular-season games (five goals, two assists) and two postseason games (one assist) this season.
