The 21-year-old forward is facing a possible sanction due to an infraction of IIHF rule 39/40 (abuse of officials).
The incident for which Louis Betschmann is being investigated occured on January 30 in the game between EHC Winterthur and the GCK Lions. In the 32nd minute of the game, Betschmann was given a game misconduct penalty for unsportsmanlike behavior against the officials.
