In yesterday's game between EV Zug and Genève-Servette HC, the guests' Daniel Winnik was part of an incident involving the team of officials. He was awarded a match penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct against them.

As a further consequence, proceedings were initiated against the Canadian this morning and he has now been issued a one-game suspension for the incident. Furthermore, he will have to pay a fine of CHF 3,000.

The incident took place late in overtime, with the teams tied at one goal each.
