The incident took place on December 7 in the derby between SC Bern and HC Fribourg-Gottéron. Thierry Schild was hit by Fribourg's Lucas Wallmark during a scrum with Samuel Walser. In an attempt at revenge, Schild pushed a linesman with his hand. Despite Schild's apologies to the official, the SIHF's disciplinary department has decided to sanction the forward. He will thus miss tomorrow's game in Rapperswil.

The 19-year-old forward has appeared in 28 games for the Bears this season. In those games, he scored two goals and assisted in five more.
