Two games for ZSC's Yannick Blaser, proceedings for HCA's Valentin Pilet

In Act 5 of the quarterfinal series between the ZSC Lions and EHC Kloten on March 21, Yannick Blaser delivered a hit to the head of Axel Simic. Penalized with a five-minute major and a misconduct on the ice, he was subsequently provisionally suspended and had proceedings initiated against him. Those resulted in a two-game suspension. In addition, Blaser has to pay a fine of CHF 2,500.-.

The playout series between HC Lugano and HC Ajoie has also just had its fifth part played. Right as it was over, Valentin Pilet cross-checked Matthew Verboon. This was, too, penalized with a five-minute major and a misconduct on the ice. The defender is now facing proceedings and has been provisionally suspended for one game.
