Starting next season, the Finn will work for two years as an assistant coach of the Finnish men's national team.
The negotiations between Jussi Tapola's club, SC Bern, and the Finnish federation resulted in an agreement between the two parties. Tapola will assist future head coach Antti Pennanen for the next two seasons, but SC Bern will remain the priority of the Finn.
Team manager Andrew Ebbett believes that this appointment is good for both sides: "It is an added value for Jussi Tapola, but also for us, if he can work at the highest international level in addition to his job at SC Bern."
