The 27-year-old defenseman will thus miss the next Champions Hockey League game against Lausanne HC on November 20.

Roger Karrer has been suspended for one game for violating IIHF Rule 48, "Illegal Check to the Head or Neck." Karrer received a major penalty as well as a game misconduct for a hit to the head of Lausanne HC's Jason Fuchs in Tuesday's game.
In addition to the suspension, Karrer will have to pay a fine of €700. Karrer has appeared in four National League games and three CHL games for Genève-Servette HC this season. He has yet to put his name on the scoresheet.
