While the Lions did not win their second game against Genève-Servette HC, the 3-3 tie was enough to get the ZSC Lions to the final.

The Lions opened the scoring in the first period with a goal by Vinzenz Rohrer. They added a power-play goal to their tally in the 37th minute of play. However, Genève-Servette HC managed to get within one only two minutes later through a goal by Vincent Praplan.

The Lions also opened the scoring in the third period, making it 3-1. However, Genève-Servette HC managed to get back into the game and tied the game with six minutes to go. More was not possible for the Grenats tonight, though.

With the tie, the ZSC Lions secured the right to play the final at home in Zürich. The Lions will face Färjestad BK in the final on February 18.
