Dominik Kahun is already familiar with EHC Red Bull München, as the 30-year-old national team player made his debut as a professional hockey player for the team in 2014. He played for them until 2018, when he left for North America. He was part of three championship titles with the DEL team.

The forward will thus leave the National League after five years. He joined SC Bern in 2021 from the Edmonton Oilers and moved to Lausanne in February 2025. During his time in the National League, he appeared in 211 games and recorded 168 points (55 goals).
