The former defenseman of HC Ajoie is looking to stay in Europe and is busy looking at his options.

According to hokej.cz, Eric Gélinas' agent is in talks with HC Kometa Brno. The defenseman has yet to sign a deal for the 2024-25 season. The former NHL player spent the past two seasons in Switzerland, suiting up for SC Bern and HC Ajoie.
Gélinas appeared in 30 games for HC Ajoie, recording five goals and nine assists.
