The 51-year-old Canadian has found a new home in France. He will serve as a head coach of the Ligue Magnus team.
HC Ambrì-Piotta
Éric Landry had been coaching in Switzerland for almost six seasons when he was released from his duties in January 2026. Landry first served as the head coach of the HCB Ticino Rockets (now the GDT Bellinzona Snakes) and then as an assistant coach for HC Ambrì-Piotta.
He was promoted to head coach in October 2025, but released from his duties after only four months. He is now headed to France, where he will coach his first season in the Ligue Magnus.
