The 29-year-old forward has agreed to terms with HC TIWAG Innsbruck and will thus return to Austria for the 2025-26 season.
HC La Chaux-de-Fonds
Steven Owre will play his fifth season in Europe. The Canadian signed with teams in the Ligue Magnus, the EIHL, the ICEHL, and the Swiss League ever since coming to Europe. It is not his first stint in the ICEHL, as he previously played for the Pioneers Vorarlberg.
Last season, Steven Owre recorded 26 goals and 17 assists in 41 regular-season games for HC La Chaux-de-Fonds. He added one assist in three postseason games to his tally.
