The 24-year-old forward has already found a new home: he will play for EC Die Adler Kitzbühel in the Alps Hockey League.
Janik Fröwis has already suited up for Kitzbühl in four games last season and will now join them permanently. His contract with EHC Winterthur would have been valid until the end of the 2023-24 season.
In 29 games for EHC Winterthur this season, the forward recorded three goals and two assists.
