Off to Kazakhstan - Nathan Beaulieu agrees to terms with Barys Astana

After only half a season in Switzerland, Nathan Beaulieu will take on a new challenge and play for Barys Astana in Kazakhstan. EHC Kloten and the defender had already parted ways at the end of February due to Beaulieu's hand injury.

Beaulieu played most of his professional hockey career in the NHL, lastly for the Anaheim Ducks. In 2023, he signed a contract with EHC Kloten, joining the National League team at the beginning of November. In total, the defender appeared in 13 games for EHC Kloten, putting up two assists.
