After a bit more than a year in Switzerland, the defenseman will continue his career with Cherepovets-based Severstal.
It was known since March that Thomas Grégoire would not be part of EHC Kloten's roster anymore come fall. The KHL announced earlier today that the Canadian defender will instead suit up for Severstal Cherepovets. He signed a one-year deal with the club.
As a member of Kloten, the 26-year-old played 60 games, recording nine goals and 18 assists. Before that, he also had a brief stint with HC Fribourg-Gottéron in the second half of the 2023-24 season.
