Eetu Laurikainen has been signed by JYP as an injury replacement for Topias Leinonen who will be out of their lineup for a while. Leinonen is expected to start on-ice training again in October.
Laurikainen, for his part, is still looking to play outside of Finland for the 2023-24 season. The deal has thus an out clause in place.
The Finn was part of Lausanne last January and appeared in 14 regular-season games for them. LHC confirmed in mid-March that the goaltender would not return to them for the 2023-24 season.
