Michal Jordán has been signed to a two-year deal by the Liiga's Lahden Pelicans. The Czech was a member of the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers from last December until the end of their season. On April 1, it was announced that he would not be back with the National League team.

"I have heard great stories from my countrymen who used to play for the Pelicans", Jordán is quoted on his new club's website. "I believe that Lahti is the right place for me and my family. I really like the culture and the positive way of working both on and off the ice."

Jordán made 25 appearances for the Lakers, collecting five assists. He had joined them from the KHL's Amur Khabarovsk.
