After I found out that Banská Bystrica is a beautiful city and that the club is one of the best in the league, it was easy to sign a contract," Matt Wilkins says about his decision to sign with the Slovakian team.
Wilkins played for EHC Winterthur for the past two seasons. This season, he also suited up for HC La Chaux-de-Fonds once the season for the Lions was over. In 41 games for Winterthur, he recorded 16 goals and 29 assists.
