The 19-year-old Frenchman returns to his native country, where he joins the Ducs d'Angers in France's top league, the Ligue Magnus.
Maxime Orlov joined EHC Winterthur last summer after he had spent his junior years in Ajoie and Biel. Now, he has signed with the Ducs d'Angers, who currently sit in third place in the French Ligue Magnus.
This season, Orlov appeared in 36 games with EHC Winterthur, in which he recorded two assists. On average, he was on the ice for roughly seven minutes per game.
