The Finnish forward has found his new employer for the 2024-25 season: HC Sparta Praha.

Without a contract since the end of the 2023-24 season, when his working relationship with Lausanne HC terminated, Miikka Salomäki will continue his career in Czechia with the club from the capital city. HC Sparta Praha will be the fifth team in Europe for the 31-year-old, who spent the last two seasons with Lausanne HC.
