"It feels fantastic and will be incredibly fun to play in front of the HV audience again. I have gained a lot of experience over the years abroad, but I think I'm basically the same player as when I was in HV71 last time. I have many good memories from my year in Jönköping and now we will create new ones together," Andreas Borgman said in his statement in the press release.

Borgman played one season for HV71, before he left to play in North America in 2017. The defenseman has been with HC Fribourg-Gottéron since 2023 and will thus leave the Dragons after two seasons. In 36 regular-season games, he recorded one goal and four assists.
