The 29-year-old forward has agreed to a five-year contract with the SHL team, valid until the end of the 2028-29 season.
There have been reports since last November that Bristedt was talking to his former team about a potential return. While Bristedt also said he would like to stay in Switzerland, it became increasingly clear that the forward would return to Sweden for the next season.
HC Davos confirmed at the beginning of April that the forward would not stay in the Landwasser Valley. In 39 games for HCD last season, he recorded eleven goals and 14 assists.
