His contract with the Bianconeri dissolved last May, the forward is yet to find a new home but may return to an old one.
Initially signed to a two-year deal by HC Lugano in 2023, Joey LaLeggia was released early, at the end of last season. Ever since, the Canadian has been without a team. This is likely to change soon, as "Expressen" writes - the forward is close to signing with HV71. Incidentally, the SHL team was also his last station before joining Lugano.
