Lucas Wallmark is returning to where his hockey career began. A few days ago, the Swede told "Blick" that he had played his last game for HC Friboug-Gottéron. It was pretty much a given that he would join Björklöven, which the club confirmed today. A contract valid until 2032 awaits the 30-year-old.

Last Thursday, Wallmark made himself an unforgettable part of the Dragons' history, scoring the overtime winner in Game 7 of the playoff final against Davos and securing the club's first-ever National League title.

Now, he is heading back to the place where it all started for him. His new and old club just managed to get promoted to the SHL, almost 40 years after their only championship title.
