Fiala, Josi and Červenka nominated for IIHF Male Player of the Year

Kevin Fiala (Los Angeles Kings) was named MVP of the 2024 IIHF World Championship and best forward of the tournament. In addition, he was part of the All-Star team.

Roman Josi (Nashville Predators) was named best defender and was part of the All-Star team as well.

Roman Červenka (SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers) was captain of Czechia's gold medal team.

Criteria for a nomination for IIHF Male Player of the Year are that a player must have competed in at least one IIHF tournament that year plus in the highest league in the country they're playing in.
