Germany, Austria, Italy & Slovenia also selected players from the Swiss leagues

Germany's head coach, Harold Kreis, has called up Dominik Kahun (Lausanne HC) to participate in the Deutschland Cup during the imminent international break. Also participating in the tournament are Austria, with the following players: Bernd Wolf (EHC Kloten), Oliver Achermann (HC La Chaux-de-Fonds), Benjamin Baumgartner (SC Bern), Vinzenz Rohrer (ZSC Lions), and Dominic Zwerger (HC Ambrì-Piotta).

During the break, Italy and Slovenia will face each other in Poland in the context of the European Cup of Nations. Italy has selected Diego Kostner (HC Ambrì-Piotta), Giovanni Morini (HC Lugano), and Alessandro Segafredo (ZSC Lions). HC Lugano's Marco Zanetti and Ambrì's Tommaso de Luca are among the reserves. For their part, Slovenia has summoned up Mark Sever (EHC Biel-Bienne/EHC Olten).
