As Mäenalanen is still dealing with an injury, Puhakka will take his place in the roster of the Finnish national team.
Saku Mäenalanen sustained an injury on October 24, and ever since, he has been considered day-to-day by the SCL Tigers. Nonetheless, he was selected by the national team for the first stage of the Euro Hockey Tour, happening in Tampere; however, he now has to be replaced by EHC Kloten's Petteri Puhakka.
