At the Swiss Hockey Games next week, the Swiss men will face several known faces.

From the National League, Sweden has selected five defenders, namely Tim Heed (HC Ambrì-Piotta), Gabriel Carlsson and Lukas Bengtsson (both EV Zug), Andreas Borgman (HC Fribourg-Gottéron), Theodor Lennström (Genève-Servette HC), and eight forwards, i. e. Marcus Sörensen, Lucas Wallmark, and Jacob de la Rose (all three HC Fribourg-Gottéron), Fredrik Olofsson and Andreas Wingerli (both EV Zug), Victor Ejdsell (SC Bern), Jesper Fröden (ZSC Lions) and Malte Strömwall (SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers).

As for Finland, the Leijonat will have nine "Swiss" players: defenders Santtu Kinnunen (ZSC Lions), Juuso Riikola, Vili Saarijärvi (both SCL Tigers), and forwards Lauri Pajuniemi, Antti Suomela (both Lausanne HC), Harri Pesonen (SCL Tigers), Jere Sallinen (EHC Biel), Waltteri Merelä (SC Bern) and Jerry Turkulainen (HC Ajoie).
