Medical Report

The 28-year-old forward had only recently returned to the ice after recovering from an injury and now has to sit out again.

As EHC Kloten reports, Canadian forward Brandon Gignac has suffered an elbow injury. As a result, the 28-year-old will be sidelined for about twelve weeks. According to the club, Gignac was injured on his first day back on the ice following a lower-body injury he sustained at the start of preseason training. However, the National League club emphasizes that the two injuries are unrelated.

Gignac has been playing for EHC Kloten since 2025. Last season, he played in 26 games, scoring four goals and contributing 16 assists.
