"Luca brings proven expertise in promoting young talent as well as national and international experience. He is a good team leader and consistently demands high performance,“ says Lars Weibel, Director of Sport at the SIHF. ”We are convinced that he is the ideal person to further develop our U20 national team [...]. Cereda will also be part of the men's national team as an assistant after the home World Championship."
"Blick" already reported two days ago that Luca Cereda would succeed Jan Cadieux. Cereda left HC Ambrì-Piotta earlier this season. It will not be the first time that the former head coach of the Biancoblù will work for SIHF. He worked for them for several seasons and coached different teams.
