Marc Lüthi has been elected president of the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation

At today's extraordinary general assembly, Marc Lüthi has been named president of the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation. He was nominated for the position in June. Lüthi ended his tenure with SC Bern in April and sold his shares, enabling him to take on this new adventure. 

“I am looking forward to this new challenge and am optimistic about the future. Swiss Ice Hockey has a strong foundation, dedicated people, and enormous potential. Together with all stakeholders, I would like to continue driving the successful development of Swiss ice hockey, provide new impetus, and consistently capitalize on the opportunities that lie ahead," Lüthi said.
