As his new club informs, Simon Marha has left HC Ambrì-Piotta to join EHC Chur, for which he is already suiting up in tonight's game against EHC Seewen. Marha's contract with the Biancoblù was set to expire at the end of the current season. Chur did not disclose the duration of the deal.
The 20-year-old son of HC Davos' legend Josef Marha spent the season on loan to the Bellinzona Rockets in the Swiss League, scoring seven goals and collecting nine assists. The Rockets still have one game to play this season but their fate will not change: they are last in the standings and failed to qualify for the postseason.
