Jan Cadieux is the new head coach of the U20 national team

"Blick" reported at the beginning of March that former HC Lugano coach Luca Gianinazzi and Jan Cadieux were the two candidates in the running for the head coaching position of the U20 teams. 

Cadieux, who coached Genève-Servette HC until December 28, 2024, will thus take on the tasks of Marcel Jenni from here on out. Jenni, for his part, will not only serve as the U20 team's assistant coach but will also serve in the same role for the men's team. Cadieux, too, will be part of the men's national team coaching staff for the next two World Championships and the Olympic Games in 2026.
