Andres Ambühl has now recorded 53 goals and 91 assists for the Swiss national team, totaling 144 points. Jörg Eberle held the all-time points for the national team record since the 1994-95 season.
Ambühl also holds the record for most appearances for the Swiss national team as well as the most World Championship games played by any player.
