Some usual suspects and some first-timers playing in Switzerland will represent their countries at this year's World Championship.

The French national team has four members engaged in the National League among its ranks - the Bozon brothers Tim (Lausanne HC) and Kevin (HC Ajoie), Thomas Thiry (also Ajoie), and Enzo Guebey (HC Davos).

On Austria, the ZSC Lions' Vinzenz Rohrer will make his World Championship debut, the same goes for HC Thurgau's Ramón Schnetzer. The latter stands at 45 international appearances, the former at six. Besides those two, Bernd Wolf (HC Lugano/EHC Kloten), Dominic Zwerger (HC Ambrì-Piotta), and Benjamin Baumgartner (SC Bern) are also on the roster.

Germany will bring two players quitting the National League with them - Marc Michaelis (from EV Zug to Adler Mannheim) and Tobias Fohrler (from Ambrì also to Mannheim). They are accompanied by Bern's Dominik Kahun.
