Jan Cadieux made his final choices before presenting the (preliminary) Swiss national team roster for the upcoming tournament. Defensemen Giancarlo Chanton, Fabian Heldner, and Simon Seiler, as well as forwards Yannick Frehner and Tyler Moy, did not make the cut. Philipp Kurashev is still being evaluated daily.
"Deciding on the World Cup roster was anything but easy", Cadieux states. "All the players have shown tremendous dedication over the past four weeks of preparation and have given their all for Switzerland. Even those who will not be competing in the home World Championship helped shape the team with their commitment and attitude, pushing their teammates every day."

For the Swiss men, the tournament starts on Friday, May 15, at 20:20 (CEST).
