The 26-year-old forward is ill and will be out for the entire World Championship tournament in Switzerland.

The results of his medical exams show that he is not able to play in the World Championship. The forward has been part of Switzerland's Olympic roster this season and also played in some exhibition games for the team this season.
The Swiss will start the tournament tomorrow. Their first opponent will be Team USA. Puck-drop is scheduled for 20:20 CET.
