Sweden's preliminary roster for the Worlds figures several NL players

The Swedes announced their provisional team for the 2024 IIHF World Championship in Prague earlier this afternoon.

Several players on the roster played in Switzerland this past season and some will be playing here in the future: Lukas Bengtsson (EV Zug), Tim Heed (HC Ambrì-Piotta), Marcus Sörensen (HC Fribourg-Gottéron), and Jesper Frödén (ZSC Lions) all made the cut for now. 

The Swedes are placed in Group B and will play their first game of the tournament against the USA on May 10.
