The Swiss players finished their last preliminary game against Czechia with a score of 4-2.
The Czechs led the game 2-0 after 30 minutes of play, but the Swiss managed to tie the game before the end of the second period. However, Czechia managed to pull through with two unanswered goals in the last ten minutes of the game, securing the third spot in Group B.
Switzerland thus finishes, thanks to their win over Norway, in fourth place and will face Sweden in the quarterfinal. Their game is scheduled for January 2. Puck-drop is scheduled for 19:30 at Scandinavium.
