The Swiss won their last game of the group stage last night and thus secured their spot in the quarterfinal.

Switzerland defeated Kazakhstan 3-1 with goals by Simon Meier, Robin Antenen, and Ludvig Johnson. Their victory secured the qualification for the quarterfinals for the Swiss. As they are in the last qualified spot, they will, however, have to face the winner of Group A, Team USA.
The quarterfinal game is scheduled for January 2. Puck-drop is set for 20.30 CET.
