National League

As "Blick" had reported in September already, coming summer, the forward is moving back to where he made his National League debut.

In 2017, at the age of 18, Axel Simic stepped onto the National League stage for the first time, as a member of Lausanne HC. After a bit of a tour through Eastern Switzerland, fate will see the forward return west again, to the shores of Lake Geneva, and suit up for his former team once more. He signed a four-year contract with them, starting next summer.

"Axel is exactly the type of player we want to bring into our project: young, talented, ambitious, and with great growth potential", team manager John Fust notes. "We are convinced that he will be a long-term asset to our organization and that he will reach new heights in Lausanne."

Over the course of his career in the National League, Simic has played 304 games so far for Lausanne, Kloten, the ZSC Lions, and HC Davos, recording 56 goals and 33 assists.
