For the final part of the regular season and for the postseason, HC Fribourg-Gottéron has acquired an additional reinforcement with their ninth import license. Ty Rattie joins Fribourg from Linköping HC, his team for the past three and a half seasons. Team manager Gerd Zenhäusern describes Rattie as an offensive player: "He has been one of the top scorers in the Swedish league in recent years. He will strengthen our offense.”

This season, Rattie scored five goals and recorded one assist in 30 games. In five years in Sweden, he collected 82 goals in 245 games. Before that, he was also active in Finland, Russia, and North America.
